Acknowledgements
Over 17,000 US and allied cadets became pilots or as students transitioned into their fighter aircraft at Luke Field between 1941 and 1946. Additionally, thousands of men and women worked to support that training. Many of the people who sent time at Luke Field during WWII went on to be US Army Air Forces leaders during WWII, and after in the US Air Force.
This website is dedicated to the men and women that worked, trained, and flew at Luke Field during WWII.

Many thinks to the family of Capt. Si R. Slaughter, Luke Field Assistant Commandant of Cadets, who donated several class books to the Luke AFB Library. Additionally, to the many Airmen who took the tens of thousands of photos My personal thanks to the four civilian Luke Air Force Base Historians since 1951 who preserved Luke’s history and the multiple Luke AFB Librarians who have helped preserve several WWII Class Books from Luke Field. I appreciate the continued support of the Litchfield Park Historical Society & Museum of this effort and others covering the history of Luke Field/Air Force Base.
A special thanks to Mr. Mike Voisin at Army Air Force Collection for permission to post the Class Book for Luke Field’s Class 43-F. He owns the copyright thereto.
